Black Hill industrial warehouse development and subdivision – consultation closed

  • Seek feedback in relation to positive or negative social impacts resulting from the proposed development.

The project has received the Secretary’s Environmental Assessment Requirements (SEARs) and is in the process of preparing the Environmental Impact Statement. Stakeholder engagement is a key aspect of the consideration of a project. There will be several opportunities for the community to have their say of the project.

Site Location: 1134 John Renshaw Drive, Black Hill (Lot 1 DP 1260203)

Proposed Development: The construction and operation of two warehouses and associated site works, enabling works and subdivision of the existing large holding into 11 lots. The development is proposed to be staged as detailed:

  • Stage 1 -Enabling Works and Subdivision
  • Stage 1A – Warehouse building 1A, site works and operation.
  • Stage 1B – Warehouse building 1B, site works and operation.

Roadworks: Four-way signalised intersection at John Renshaw Drive and Donaldson Mine.

Construction hours: 7am-5pm Monday – Friday; 7am-3pm Saturday; No construction on Sunday or Public Holidays

Hours of Operation: 7am – 11pm Monday to Friday

Job creation: 1,637 Construction jobs; 224 FTE operational jobs

Conservation land: 41.55ha

Site Coverage: 55%
Maximum Height: 16.8m
Car Parking: 169 parking spaces
Bicycle Parking: 13 spaces
