This consultation is now closed.
The proposal is for the establishment of a new St Philip’s Young Parents School and Narnia Early Learning Centre. This will involve the demolition of the existing building on the site and the erection of a new two storey building. The school is to cater for up to 30 students and a childcare facility for 32 children.
The purpose of the facility is to provide a dual generational approach to supporting the education of young parents and their children. The St Philip’s Young Parents College was developed out of a desire to provide quality education and care to both teen parents and their children to ensure a successful schooling and parenting journey for both generations.
More information about the Young Parents College can be found via the link below: https://www.spcc.nsw.edu.au/schools/tailored-education/young-parents-college
The purpose of the SIA consultation is to:
- Inform the local community of the proposed development
- Understand what is important to the community, and
- Seek feedback in relation to positive or negative social impacts resulting from the proposed development.
